I am an abstract painter from Czechia, living in Cornwall for over seven years. My background in industrial design, developed during my studies in Sumperk, Czechia, has given me a solid foundation in the principles of form and function.
Cornwall’s stunning landscapes and natural wonders have profoundly influenced my artistic journey, inspiring me to create landscape and abstract pieces in oil and acrylic paints. The moody climate and extended winters often result in darker tones, reflecting the region’s unique atmosphere. My art aims to capture the natural beauty and emotional essence of Cornwall, inviting viewers to experience its charm and tranquility.
I also create figurative paintings on larger canvases, exploring the expressive potential of the human form. My work is showcased in Joel’s Gallery in Mousehole and Dan Hides Gallery in Newlyn, where I am honored to share my vision with a wider audience and contribute to the vibrant local art scene.
